Places to visit

Looe is a typical working Cornish fishing village with narrow winding streets lots of restaurants, pubs  cafes and quirky shops along with some shops, banks and post office.  A popular family past time is fishing for crabs from the quayside. 

You can walk or drive to the nearby Monkey Sanctuary.

The nearest major town is Liskard which has an indoor pool complex as well as some bigger stores such as Morrisons and Lidl. 

Also within 10mins by car is Looe golf course. There are many other golf courses within easy reach by car.

Further down the coast is the quaint coastal village of Polperro which is car free and further still is  Polruan with fantastic coastal view and a ferry across to Fowey.

Inland is Siblyback waterpark which has water activities and Golitha Falls which has picturesque rugged walks. 

Other places of interest include Charleston Shipwreck and Heritage centre and if you are fortunate there may be a couple of tall ships in the harbour, Restmorel Castle, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Pendennis Castle and of course the world famous Eden Project near St Austell.
